Support Desk

A neutral resource for families

Give parents a practical place to keep the paper trail

School Support Desk helps a parent or guardian organize concerns, communications, follow-ups, and meeting notes. Professionals can share the resource without joining, referring into a portal, or receiving access to a family's information.

Clear scope

What it does—and what it deliberately does not do

That boundary makes it easier to share as a parent-owned organization option.

School Support Desk does

  • Keep a concern, related contacts, dates, and outcomes together.
  • Help a parent draft a factual recap and identify a next follow-up.
  • Create a concise meeting-prep document from the parent's own notes.
  • Track goals and observations chosen by the parent.
  • Let the parent export or erase locally stored desk records.

School Support Desk does not

  • Evaluate a student or interpret an IEP, 504 plan, diagnosis, or law.
  • Recommend services, accommodations, strategies, or a course of action.
  • Replace a school team, clinician, advocate, attorney, or parent's judgment.
  • Send a family's desk records to the referring professional or school.
  • Pay commissions, referral fees, or incentives for sharing the resource.

Fictional handoff example

A family leaves with one useful next step

01

The moment

A parent says their school emails, meeting notes, and unanswered questions are hard to keep straight.

02

The neutral language

“If a simple paper-trail organizer would help, School Support Desk has a free meeting worksheet and an optional ongoing desk.”

03

The boundary

The parent chooses whether to visit. The professional does not open an account, see usage, or receive anything in return.
