About School Support Desk

A practical way for parents to stay clear, prepared, and involved.

School Support Desk was created by a parent who understands what it means to advocate for a child. Practical tools at an affordable price can help parents stay organized, communicate clearly, and keep important follow-ups from getting lost.

Why it exists

Created by a parent.

The idea is simple: parents deserve straightforward, useful tools that help them stay prepared and involved without adding another expensive or complicated system to family life.

Why it was created

Parents should not need professional credentials to keep their own facts, questions, dates, and next steps organized. A calm, parent-controlled record can make it easier to participate thoughtfully instead of trying to reconstruct everything from memory.

How it was shaped

The desk was built around practical work parents already do: listen to their child, capture what happened, keep the chronology, prepare focused questions, confirm who owns the next action, and return to unfinished items at the right time.

Empowerment you can practice

Clarity creates room for better participation.

Empowerment does not mean having every answer, carrying everything alone, or treating the school as an opponent. It means staying close to your child's experience and having enough organized context to ask focused questions and follow through calmly.

Listen with more space

Spend less energy rebuilding the timeline and more energy hearing what your child is experiencing, what helps, and what progress matters.

Communicate more clearly

Bring the relevant facts, dates, priorities, and open questions into conversations without relying on memory alone.

Keep continuity

Carry important context through meetings, scheduling delays, staff changes, approvals, and other processes with multiple steps or handoffs.

Catch gaps before they compound

Keep unfinished questions and promised actions visible before they become a larger, harder-to-untangle source of stress.

Notice positive progress

Preserve improvements, helpful supports, and growing confidence alongside the concerns that still need attention.

Lighten the mental load

Move dates, notes, and follow-ups out of your head and into one organized place so they do not have to compete with everyday family life.

Where professional help fits

Some situations call for an educator, advocate, attorney, evaluator, or other qualified professional. School Support Desk does not replace them. It can help a parent arrive with a clearer chronology, focused questions, and an organized view of what still needs attention.

Straightforward on purpose

The numbers are straightforward.

The desk is priced to make year-round organization predictable, without an hourly, per-issue, per-meeting, or per-export charge.

Public tools

$0

The blank meeting pack, school follow-up self-check, fictional demo, and parent guides are available without a paid account.

Monthly membership

$1 for the first month

New subscribers pay $1 for the first month of the full desk, then it renews at $7 each month until canceled through Manage billing. The introductory price is available once per customer. The core tools work without AI; optional AI wording help appears only when securely available.

Annual membership

$58 per year

Pay $58 upfront for 12 months of the full desk. It renews at $58 each year until canceled through Manage billing.

An honest comparison

Professional services vary widely and serve a different purpose, so School Support Desk does not claim that every family will save a particular dollar amount. If organization is what you need, the desk gives you ongoing use at a predictable price. If specialized help is needed, the record you build can help you use that professional time more purposefully. Both prices are before applicable tax. Your chosen monthly or annual subscription renews on that schedule until canceled, and Stripe shows the final amount before you subscribe.
